For Shipper

OXEN platform is a broker/marketplace, not a motor carrier. we do not own the trucks and are not responsible for the actual transport, Carrier holds cargo liability.
Shippers must provide the shipment weight, number of parcels, and commodity types, misrepresentation leads to "Accessorial Charges" (extra fees).
The shipper will be billed upon delivery.
Shippers must agree that claims for loss or damage are filed against the Carrier's insurance, not OXEN platform.
Cancellations: there are an associated fee with "Truck Ordered, Not Used" (TONU).
Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials (unless specified), illegal goods, high-value bullion, or any illegal item prohibited by local authorities.
Loading time: usually a 2-hour free window; detention fees apply thereafter.

For Carrier

Carriers must possess a valid transport license from the Transport General Authority (TGA) and any required license from any other related authority.
Carriers are not employees. They provide their own equipment, fuel, and labor.
Documentation: Requirement to upload a signed Proof of Delivery (POD) or Bill of Lading (BOL) within a specific timeframe (e.g., 24 hours) to trigger payment.
Tracking: carrier Agrees to use the app's GPS tracking for real-time updates during the whole trip.
The Carrier shall comply with all requirements set forth by the Transport General Authority (TGA) in accordance with the Executive Regulations for Heavy Goods Transportation for Commercial and Non-Commercial Purposes (here), and the Executive Regulations for Light Goods Transportation for Commercial and Non-Commercial Purposes (here).
